It’s that moment when something completely random happens and your camera is never near to capture this moment. Usually the moment has passed as you dart back setting up your camera to take what would have been a fantastic photograph.
Last night must have been my lucky night as a robin that had been out on the hunt after the down pours we’d been having all day decided to porch itself on the fence outside my bedroom window. Running into another room to grab my camera I knew the chances of the robin still being there when i got back were close to slim and none but low and be hold it was still there.
Thankfully it posed perfectly for me to get that single shot before flying away.
