Last year I wrote a post about how my site needs a face lift as it seemed very boring. Just after that post I bought a theme call Confidence from Theme Forest :
A couple of months ago I had a couple of questions for the author only to discover the theme had been pulled from Theme Forest. I am not sure if it was the author or staff that pulled the theme but would seem the Author got paid and Theme Forest got paid but blog owners like myself lose money buying a very short lived theme that had so many problems. This highlights an obvious flaw but having only experienced this once since using themeforest I would hope to think this doesn’t happen very often.
[label type=”info”]TIP[/label] I have learned that before buying a theme to check the comments to see what other “purchasers” are saying and also to check the kind of support model that’s in place. Some have a dedicated support area, some just use the commenting system and some well they don’t support at all.
Onwards and upwards
The theme you see today is called Keilir. Straight out of the box it does alot of things and in all honesty I have only tweaked it a little. Being responsive with various formats, bootstrap shortcodes, various custom widgets and much more. The author offers fantastic support and is very open to suggestions to enhance the theme.
