Dublin May’25 – Birthday break We will defo be back Dublin, we know we’ve still got lots of exploring to do. Below is a run down of what we did, stress free itinerary (Simple ratings beside socials) . Fantastic wee break, book far enough in advance flights can be so cheap. When we were in O’Donoghues we were speaking to 2 brothers who had popped over for the day from London (celebrating a birthday too), sat chilled, drinking Guinness and playing chess #livelife. If you have any recommendations please comment below โฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธ or under the video on YT ๐Ÿ™‚

Day 1

  • Our first time stepping foot in Dublin, 2 nights with a realistic, chilled schedule. Dropped stuff off at our hotel and then head straight for our booked tour at the Guinness Storehouse. What an experience this was, the tour itself was interesting, and needs done once. We did the tasting and pouring experience which we passed, obviously :P. All this ended on the roof top Gravity bar which gives 360 views of Dublin while having a perfect pint of Guinness. They say it’s tastes different from source and I have to 100% agree.
  • Next stop was the Brazen head, oldest pub in Ireland, great local vibe.
  • Template bar, I can’t see the hype here, maybe missed something? Done it to say we’ve done it. Expensive, Wouldn’t do again.
  • Ha’penny Bridge then a pint in the Ha’penny Inn, cracking afternoon for it.
  • We’re peckish so we tried Doom slice, very nice.

Day 2

  • Breakfast at Keoghs cafรฉ, breakfast was banging.
  • Visited the Molly Malone (please don’t rub her chest) and Luke Kelly statues. I’d love to have seen Billy Connolly live or even meet him in real life, but his hand prints will have to do (time 1:32) :). Also had a wee look through George’s Street Arcade, some interesting shops in there.
  • Thought we would try get an early pint at The bankers, says it opens at 10.30am, it does not. Next time we hope to experience this bar :). Hairy lemon, another good vibe feeling, opens early for breakfast so we managed an early pint.
  • O’Donoghues, lots of history here, home of the Dubliners. We sat out in the garden on a beautiful sunny afternoon just taking in the atmosphere, company and the Guiness.
  • Kicky’s, this place was packed, lots of great looking and tasting food. Want to thank Vic, Nathan and Gemma for setting this up, company, food, drink, service were all perfect.Great night had, birthday was truly celebrated.

Day 3

  • We had a coffee and a pastry at brewlab, then walked about looking at shops. Had our last pint in Dublin at the hairy lemon. Our next stop was The Rolling Donut, problem was picking which 3 we took home (best donuts we’ve tasted).
  • Our final stop before heading to the airport was Bambino for a very tasty pizza slice (go early to avoid disappointment).
  • Home time… ๐ŸšŒ๐Ÿ›ซ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช – ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ
