Hurray – some more tracks made to sing along with! I am looking forward to seeing how the change to the 45min Bodypump format work out. It’ll take time to get variety/a repertoire built up if it takes off with this release, but in theory I like the idea of a more balanced workout! Thanks for sharing the music & links as ever 🙂

Well, finally, after a looooooooooooooong wait, mix 103 launched in our gym here in Brazil.
So, here are some opinions:
TRACK 1: It’s a slow one and it never seems to get going. But, you know, lately this is what we’ve been getting on this track, so, I’m not complaining too much.
TRACK 2: This one takes so long to get it going! It’s a little boring, but when you get to the end, after the 16 pulses, you really feel great.
TRACK 3: I liked the pullover on this track, I’ve been doing BP since mix 81 and this is the first time that I’ve seen pullovers on the chest track. The music is not that great, though.
TRACK 4: I LOVE back tracks with the squat presses and the music is motivating, thank God.
TRACK 5: Worst BP track ever, with no punch, no motivating lyrics, completely boring and ULTRA hard. I’ve been doing the french presses on 102 with 15kg and had to take it down to 10kg and it’s still almost impossible to get to the end of the song without a break.
TRACK 6: Come on, not Justin Bieber. This is not the worst BP song ever, only because we had that awful tune on the triceps track. The choreo is derivative from the biceps track from mix 102. Really boring and not motivating at all.
TRACK 7: Great track, love the song. When I watched some videos online and saw the 32 pulses, I really thought that I was going to die at the end of the song. Turns out it’s waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier than the one in 102 (which I think is the hardest lunges track ever).
TRACK 8: Another boring song, but at least this one has great moves.
TRACK 9 AND 10: Nothing memorable, but nothing wrong too.
I think, musically, this is one of the worst releases ever! Tracks 3,5, 6 and 8 are really hard to get motivated too and I think it gets worst on 104. The good news is that after one Body Combat 73 class, I’m really excited to take it again.
