Les Mills Body Combat – Class Format

Having heard horrific stories about instructors throwing in tracks all over the place in Body Combat  to make the class “harder”, I thought I would post up the class guidelines set by Les Mills. These guidelines are in place for a reason.

45 Minute Format

  • Track 1 – Upper & Lower Body Warmup
  • Track 2 – Combat 1
  • Track 3 – Power Training 1
  • Track 4 – Combat 2
  • Track 6 – Combat 3
  • Track 7 – Muay Thai
  • Track 8 – Power Training 3
  • Track 10 – Cooldown

Along with Body Combat other Les Mill programmes 45 minute format can be found over on FitPro’s website.

30 Minute Format

The 30 minute format above was taken from Les Mills Community Forums. Would be nice to have some sort of confirmation of the above as it does look a little odd.

  • Track 1 – Upper & Lower Body Warmup
  • Track 2 – Combat 1
  • Track 8 – Power Training 3
  • Track 7 – Muay Thai
  • Track 6 – Combat 3

UPDATE: Thanks to a comment from Grandnat the following is the proper 30 minute format:

  • Upper and lower warm
  • Power 3
  • Muay Thai
  • Combat 3

I have emailed FitPro to look into gaining access to Instructor resources on Les Mills website. Hopefully this will happen soon..

According to the PDF which you can download from the Instructor Hub on Les Mills website – the 30 minute format for combat is:

      1) Upper and lower warm upp
      2) Power 3
      3) Muay Thai
      4) Combat 3

Then an ad-lib cooldown stretch – so no Combat 1

Thanks for the info 🙂 For some reason my "code" doesn't work so I don't have access to the hub. Will update the post 🙂
