My my my, for some reason the internet has been bombarded with lots of beta sites:
National Trust
BBC
Radio Time – Now Live
Asp.net
You can see several UI patterns going across all of the above sites. Everyone making good use out of space. I have no idea why the beta asp.net site still has ads. Please replace with something more interesting please, you’re the only site that i was disappointed in.
